FAQ
Questions we are asked most.
How the practice works, what a matter costs and what happens after you send a brief — answered plainly.
How quickly will we hear back?
Every enquiry is read personally and normally answered within one business day. For anything urgent, call or send a WhatsApp message during practice hours.
What does the first consultation cost?
Nothing. The first fifteen minutes are free — enough to understand the matter, give you a realistic first view and explain what a full engagement would involve.
How are fees agreed?
Before any work starts. Where the scope is clear we quote a fixed fee; where it is not, we agree a cap and tell you as soon as a matter is heading towards it. Every quote is in writing and VAT is shown separately.
Does sending the form create a lawyer–client relationship?
No. An engagement begins only once you have signed our engagement letter. Until then, please do not send anything you would not want read before a conflict check.
Do you work in Arabic as well as English?
Yes. We draft, review and negotiate in both languages, and can prepare bilingual contracts where the counterparty or an authority requires Arabic.
Can you run a conflict check before we speak?
Yes — and we prefer to. Give us the name of the other party when you send your brief and we will check it before the first call.
Do you work with companies outside Dubai?
Yes. We advise companies across all seven emirates and foreign businesses entering the UAE. Meetings run by phone or video unless you would rather meet in person.
Can you represent us in court?
Our practice is advisory, transactional and arbitration work. Where a matter has to go before the UAE courts, we work alongside locally licensed advocates and stay involved in the strategy.
